Moving....Again
Yup that's right guys and gals, I'm moving again at the end of this month. I've been in my place for nearly two years now, and it's been great. Don and I had talked about getting a place together sometime, we just figured we'd know when it was the right time. Well two pretty clear signs presented themselves in the last while, one being that his roomie is talkng about moving away and two was my rent going up to a bit more than I can comfortably afford. We put in applications at one place just last week and already some opened up, we really didn't expect to get a place so soon, especially in Lloydminster and with it being winter as well. But as luck would have it a great place opened up so we took it rather than pass it up and risk having to wait for months. I'm excited, I think it's going to be great. Although I am not at all excited about moving in the winter...I always seem to pick the crappiest times to moves, lol. But in a town like this you can't really afford to sit around and wait for the perfect weather, becasue it'll never happen! The new place is first floor so at least that'll make the moving in part a bit easier, rather than trying to maneuver furniture up three or four flights of stairs, which really really sucks. So I guess I've got a couple of weeks now to get my stuff all packed up and start giving my place a good power clean, which I'm sure will be LOADS of fun. Wish me luck!!
